N Resort has blossomed since our last visit in December. Plants and shrubbery have matured and the beach has more sand; yet some things remained constant - quality meals and outstanding, friendly service. This is not a resort for the all-night party crowd or the “drink ‘til you drop” bunch. This is a nude resort with a nice beach, a big pool with a water-slide, all staffed by people who really care. Located about 30 minutes from the Montego Bay Sangster Airport, this is a place for couples - a place to sit by the pool with your partner, a good book, and a Red Stripe. This is the place for a long walk up the beach - there is nothing for two or three miles. This is a place for an unrushed meal, either with friends or just together.
The rooms are located along the ocean east of the port city of Falmouth. You can see the large cruise ships as they dock there for a day with their masses, but not have to fight the mob. Each of the ten buildings is made of knotty pine, and the rooms are large and have everything you need. The large king-sized bed is surmounted by a mosquito net (which was not needed),
How Romantic ;)
Room with a REAL Ocean View!
and a small fridge, phone, desk, day-bed, TV, and safe are included. There is WIFI in all rooms (AND IT'S FREE), but if you didn’t bring your computer, you can use the one near the main desk. The oceanfront rooms are really ocean-front!
Your balcony comes with either two chairs and a table or a daybed and a table and is almost in the water. The ocean-view rooms are a little further back, but have real ocean views. The garden view rooms are currently not in use.  The rooms are rustic looking but quite comfortable, but, frankly, I was in our room only at night and during one afternoon thunderstorm.
The meals were delicious. The cuisine was a mix of American and Jamaican dishes. My favorite was probably breakfast with a large selection of goodies, including custom made omelets. Lunch was a choice - eat at the pool bar or the main dining room.
YUM!
Both were good choices. The evening menu varied from day to day. At least three to six main entrees, including vegetarian, were offered. One night was a beach night with a fire-eater as entertainment followed by dancing on the beach. Every night was different. The Italian restaurant was open two nights, along with the main dining room. The Italian is the Jamaican version of Italian adapting some of the local vegetables and  spices. People are requested to dress for the main dining room, as required by Jamaican law. What is considered “dressed” is open to your interpretation - pareos and loincloths were in vogue, although in the evening, sport shirts, shorts and sundresses were seen.We were at the resort during Halloween. The decorations, meals, and entertainment were outstanding. A number of “deceased” performers were starred, including the late Michael Jackson who arrived with glove, in a custom fitted casket. The guests joined in with costumes, and a lucky couple received three free nights. “Pirate’s night” also saw many guests in costumes of one sort or another. Some participated, others didn’t, but everyone had a good meal. The greatest obstacle to overcome was “sand gravity” - the tendency to park on the beach or by the pool and luxuriate.
Can't you just see yourself laying there?
For those interested, there are two tennis courts, with a resident tennis pro, water aerobics, water volleyball, and a water-slide competition, along with other poolside
games. A glass-bottom boat was available most mornings, weather permitting, and a snorkeling trip was scheduled. A Jamaican cooking demonstration was done one day by Chef Jeffrey Martin, winner of the “Best inJamaica” competition in 2008.For those desiring pampering, spa treatments, massages, and hair styling are available at a reasonable rate. While we were there, there were about sixty guests present. This provided a nice number to support activities. The one thing that really impressed me was the quality of service. The entire staff was dedicated to make our vacation the best.
Drink anyone?
See you in Jamaica!
Dates of visit - October 25 - November 1, 2011.

J&J
N Resort Dates 5/4/2011 thru 5/11/2011
This was our 1st visit to N. It’s been 3 years since our last visit to Jamaica. GL Braco had been slipping in service so we went elsewhere. With Braco closing there are very few places that we could try and we wanted to return to Jamaica. N was offering what we wanted at a good price so we signed up for a week. This was our 30th trip to Jamaica, most being to Braco and a few being to Hedo and GL Negril. We were looking for a quiet venue and reviews were positive for the most part. We took Jet Blue from Orlando to MoBay about 1hr 45min.

Customs and immigration are much improved, as was baggage. The most irritating part was the waiting for the bus ride as well as the beer stop. Total for this was about 1hr and 30min. I have inquired about a taxi estimate is about $60 to $70 for two. Agree on the price first. A young couple did not and we viewed the major hassle at the front desk on our way to something.

Check In was quick and we were off to room in about 5 minutes. OK First impression was what did we get into. The resort needs maintenance and has lots of plants. Pool area needs work recliners are old shade appears limited as do the number of patrons. As the week went on it did not seem to be as big an item.
Pool View
The grounds were lovely!

Beachfront rooms are clean andspacious. Bed mattress is firm.
Love the Beds!!!!
 Bathroom clean needs work.
Water was hot and pressure usually very good.
Nice Size Shampoo & Conditioner
How cute is this!

A Full Size Bar of Soap
I wish I was this talented.

There is something like a single bed on the Lanai with a firm mattress covered by a clean sheet that is very nice to Relax on in the AM for coffee or after a day at the pool prior to dinner. The constant breeze is wonderful. Very easy to talk with your neighbors. Note. The walls are thin.
Room with a VIEW!
Food. All meals are A La Cart, portion size was very nice, and the food quality preparation and taste good. No worry about going home plus 5 lbs. unless you requested seconds. There were two meals at the Italian restaurant both were very good. Daily breakfast was very nice and the smoothies appeared to be very popular. Lunch by the pool had a variety that included burgers, fries, wraps etc. You would not go hungry. Snacks mostly popcorn were put out about 5 PM.
Yummy to the tummy!
Pool and Hot tubs. Both need work. “Soon Come” The water slide is fun and Leon the “entertainment coordinator”
Andrea Hutchinson Owner of Go Classy Tours & Leon
does try to get the guest involved. If you seek shade the pool area is limited as are the number of umbrellas. We did not have a problem because of the low numbers of guest.
Pool Area
Occupancy. We arrived on May 4 for 7 days. First two days 20 guest. The weekend there was 6 of us. By the following Tuesday total was back up to 20 or 22 with more arrivals due on Thursday. The staff and resort made Mothers Day special with a flower and T-shirt for the ladies. Also, Atlantic salmon was a special addition to the dinner menu that night.

Booze. Lots of the typical rum drinks. There were some good whiskies. I drink Walker Black there was none. When I asked it took a day or so but it became available.
Evening entertainment. Some of the usual stuff fire guy and Big Momma. There were several evenings with musicians that were very good. Not just Reggie but Oldies, Easy Listening, Kenney Rodgers and some country. The guest enjoyed this quite a bit.
Drinks for everyone!
I tried to catch him blowing it out ;)

Thing’s that need to be mentioned. We had booked an Ocean view and were upgraded to a beachfront.

Our return trip to the airport was by Private car very nice.
We walked over to SuperClubs Trelawney Resort to visit Carl, Tamika and Ann Marie Goffe, very old friends from Braco. Nice looking.but!!! No way would I stay, KIDS, NOISE way to many people that do not know what AN is.

Summary. There are a limited number of resorts that offer AN. I hope N can make a go of it. I will be keeping track and may return in November for Thanksgiving. As with most vacations we made new friends and had an enjoyable time. For those that recognize us from the trip report: I hope you all made it home safe and sound.

PS Gym has 2 Treadmills, 3 bikes, and weight machines.

N-Resort - Jamaica Newest Nude Resort

We had a wonderful experience!
Vacation at the N-Holidays Resort!!
800 329-8145
At first we were a little skeptical....but then came the nice review on another travel board, right before we left...and N-Holidays Resort had a very enticing "all-inclusive" offer as well....so we gave it a shot, and had a FANTASTIC week in Jamaica!!! The first thing that I would like to share is that the "entire" staff is phenomenal! I am going to take the time to list some names that we learned along the way...and let me say this, if I know and am aware of all of these people at the N-Holidays Resort....it is just another affirmation that the visit there; was made to be very personal and rocked with EXCELLENT customer service!
Upon our arrival, Nicola greeted us with a beautiful smile, and gave us our choice of Rum Punch and/or a glass of Ice Water. The ride from the MBJ was not very long at all...so happy to say that we were not weary from the bus ride. (we had an awesome bus driver too!!) A couple of more wonderful people behind the front desk are Raymond and Michael. They too...had great smiles! I believe that they were truly happy to see us arrive...yeah!

The foliage is absolutely beautiful! (I have included plenty of pictures for you to see) One of the Groundskeepers was named Byran. Very, very nice...and he does an outstanding job of maintaining the grounds. I know that he works with others...and my apologies, as I did not get their names to share with you. I was also in need of some Aloe...and Byran went right out and cut me a piece, and hand delivered it. I learned for the first time how to correctly prepare fresh Aloe for application. Amazing!
Freddy is the General Manager for the property...and we found him to be very approachable....actually, everyone was, but Freddy was open to suggestions and/or comments from his guests. Leon is the Food & Beverage Manager...and he went out of his way to make sure that all of us were happy. Example: The day before we were supposed to leave, we were having a conversation with Leon...and he was asking Glenn and I how everything had been...and Glenn shared with him that one of his favorite desserts was the "Chocolate Truffle." (simply amazing!!) Glenn also shared with him that they had only had the "Chocolate Truffle" one time since we had been there...and so Leon surprised us, and had the Pastry Chef prepare some "Chocolate Truffles" for our last dinner there. OMGoodness...they are delicious!! How special is that???
The food was delicious too. The Jerk Chicken/Pork were outstanding...the Jerk Sauce has a little heat in it...but that's what Jamaican Jerk Sauce is all about...right? They also gave cooking classes...so we all received recipes and instructions on how to prepare some delectable dishes at home. We had Snapper, Tilapia, Tuna, Shrimp, Crab, Lobster, and some amazing local Jamaican dishes...and all of them were very tasty. Some other entrées that they had were not so tempting to our pallets...but they made many others very happy; Curried Goat, Corned Beef Hash, Ox Tail Soup (the Pumpkin Soup was yummy!)...fresh fruit that was very sweet...cheeses of all kinds...and the normal breakfast buffet. Chef Sterling, Jeffrey, Samuel and the rest of the restaurant staff prepared some mighty delicious meals. Breakfast was buffet style...with Samuel making eggs and omelets to order. Perfect!
Shantel and Venus were leading the pool activities, and they too are awesome! We had some great Volleyball games…and then there were other pool activities that were a lot of fun too! Oh, we had the "big slide" competition as well. Venus would time the slide down...and everyone was getting into it. It was a blast!
There was a lot of laughing and camaraderie much of the time that we were there. There was also plenty of "quiet" time, anytime you chose. Kudo's to Shantel and Venus! Asha was also a lot of fun in the VB games.
Pamelina…the Bar Manager always was there to make sure that everyone was being taken care of. She too…has a very nice smile, and always a warm greeting. Kerry, Michael, and Geoffrey took great care of all us with our favorite drink requests. Great job guys! Sanchez and Julius did an excellent job with the Pool Bar Food....very tasty, and always hot-to-serve.
Leecia is the head of Entertainment...and she too gave 100%. Our favorite night of entertainment was when Mystic Vibes played, and we all danced. Geoffrey, one of the bartenders is also the electric bass player in Mystic Vibes.....they were awesome! Thank you Leecia for the entertainment!
Collins is in charge of the Water Sports...many things were available for us to do...but it was a bit windy most of the days. However, there were Kayaks, Canoes, snorkeling equipment, the Glass Bottom Boat and the Diving boat...readily available.
Megan and Latoya...and there were a couple of others in the dining room...to serve us with a smile, and kind greetings. I know that I am missing some names here too....so sorry…but everyone was amazing! I think that there was Kevon and Dwayne...and a couple of others.
Paethena was our Housekeeper, and she did an amazing job! Every day, there were fresh flowers on our bed with a new "towel" design, and the room was spotless. Thank you Paethena for an amazing job!
The beach was very nice...plenty of chairs to lie on, and bar service was made available to all of us, no matter where you were. On the beach...at the pool....very nice! Be sure to take water shoes with you...preparation for sea urchins, and a few rocks in some areas. The beach was raked everyday...sometimes, more than once. We really appreciated all of the effort that went into making us all comfortable.
I give N-Holidays Resort a 5-star for their category. I realize that when someone rates a resort and/or a hotel a 5-star....that they are probably referring to luxury...but I rate this a 5-star, not because the amenities are the finest...but because of the EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, THE GREAT FOOD, THE ACCOMODATIONS (always clean and comfortable) If you choose to go to Jamaica for a relaxing vacation...then the N-Resort Holidays is the place to visit. The rooms are not luxurious...but they are definitely nice! Small refrigerator...day bed...the bed is pretty firm (so if you like soft and fluffy, you won't get it) the bathroom is not updated...but it is completely clean and very functional.
We were told before we left that the resort is filling up for Valentine's Day...yeah!! There were not a lot of people there while we were there...approx. 50 (which was awesome!) but the people that we met while at the N-Resort Holidays were so much fun, and many if not all of us...left with phone numbers and email addresses...so that we can stay in touch with each other. The plan is......to return, same time and place in 2012.

Thank you to everyone at the N-Resort Holidays for making our trip to Jamaica very special! Our time back to Jamaica will soon come...and we look forward to seeing all of you once again. Peace out.....

PS The word NO was never used at the resort....it was always "no problem mon!"
